The Municipal CPPCC held a consultative symposium on “Optimizing the Business Environment and Serving the Real Economy.”

To further promote the continuous optimization of our city’s business environment and effectively support the development of the real economy, the Municipal Political Consultative Conference held a consultative symposium on “Optimizing the Business Environment and Serving the Real Economy” on August 24. Attending the event were Cui Jingmin, Chairman of the Municipal Political Consultative Conference; Li Enke, Vice Mayor; Ge Qiujuan and Jiang Weirong, Vice Chairmen of the Municipal Political Consultative Conference; entrepreneur members of the CPPCC; responsible officials from nine leading units—including the Development and Reform Bureau and the Administrative Approval Bureau—that are tasked with building the business environment; and heads of selected key projects. Participants visited on-site the product project of Dongtang Electric Company, which involves the annual production of 10,000 sets of intelligent integrated devices for single-phase ground fault handling in power grids. After the site visit, Jiang Weirong chaired a symposium. At the meeting, heads of various key projects briefed on their progress, the support and assistance provided by different departments during project implementation, as well as the difficulties and challenges encountered in project construction. The Development and Reform Bureau reported on the overall situation of our city’s business environment development, while other relevant departments shared specific measures taken to optimize the business environment, highlighted successful practices, and outlined plans for future work. The CPPCC members highly praised our city’s efforts in building the business environment and, drawing on their own enterprises’ experiences, put forward opinions and suggestions on how to further enhance the business environment. Li Enke pointed out that we must clearly recognize the current situation, squarely face existing gaps, and deeply understand the extreme importance and pressing urgency of optimizing the business environment. We need to focus closely on targets and priorities, highlight key areas, and make every effort to bring about substantial improvements and transformations in the business environment. Moreover, we must strengthen our sense of responsibility, act pragmatically and proactively, and ensure that all measures aimed at optimizing the business environment are effectively implemented and yield tangible results. Cui Jingmin called for raising awareness and genuinely enhancing our sense of responsibility and urgency in optimizing the business environment. We must prioritize key areas and make concerted efforts to optimize the “four major environments.” We also need to build consensus and strive to create a powerful synergy for optimizing the business environment. Cui Jingmin emphasized that the business environment is a soft power and competitive edge that affects the overall economic and social development of Luancheng—a systematic, ongoing, people-oriented, and top-priority undertaking. All sectors across the city must unite as one, take the initiative in assuming responsibilities, and continuously and deeply promote dual improvements in both the quality and standards of the business environment. We should endeavor to create a “magnetic field” that attracts resources, fertile ground for enterprise development, and an ideal haven for investment and entrepreneurship, thus making positive contributions to building a “modern, strong economic city and a prosperous, beautiful Luancheng.”
