The magnetic separation tube, also known as the Davis tube, is suitable for laboratories in coal preparation, mining, metallurgy, geology, and other fields. It is used to determine the content of magnetic components in strongly magnetic ores, providing reference data for ore sorting.
The DTCXG-ZN50 magnetic separator tube is an improved product based on the traditional national standard magnetic separator tube. The overall structure of the equipment and its operation control system have been upgraded. The equipment features a cart-style structural design, boasting a sleek and elegant appearance, flexible mobility, and ease of use. The controller employs computer control technology, enabling fully automatic, one-button measurement of magnetic field strength during testing. Moreover, the magnetic field strength is displayed digitally and directly, offering simple operation and intuitive visualization. The magnetic field output is controlled by an excitation control module, allowing for stepless, linear adjustment of magnetic field strength. Each magnetic separator tube undergoes calibration of its magnetic field strength prior to shipment, ensuring full compliance with the requirements for experimental equipment specified in Section 7 of “Test Methods for Magnetite Powder Used in Coal Preparation” (GB/T18711-2002).

Working principle:
The DTCXG-ZN50 magnetic separation tube is equipped with a glass tube positioned between the poles of a C-shaped electromagnet, which undergoes reciprocating motion and oscillatory rotation. As the sample to be separated passes through the magnetic field region, magnetic particles adhere to the inner wall of the tube, while non-magnetic particles are washed away by water during the mechanical movement. Throughout the experiment, the strength of the magnetic field is controlled and adjusted by the controller.
